Montgomery County Hosts 12th Annual County Senior Safety Forum
In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and Maryland Protect Week, leaders of the Montgomery County Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Task Force will host the 12th Annual County Senior Safety Forum from June 13-16. This year's forum is a series of informative and fun live-streamed sessions discussing ‘Staying Connected Safely.’ Each session includes active audience participation through music, yoga, meditation, and question and answer opportunities. Residents can participate in each session virtually, or at in-person viewing parties hosted at County senior centers. View the schedule and sign up here.

JCA is now part of AmeriCorps Seniors! We’re ready to join forces with Americans ages 55+ and lift up our community through national service. We’re excited to announce that JCA has received an AmeriCorps grant. With this new funding, we’ll engage AmeriCorps Seniors' volunteers to volunteer in schools in Montgomery County. Their service will make meaningful connections across generations. This fall we will share more information about how to get involved.
