JCA Connect-A-Ride Helps Montgomery County Win Award
JCA is excited to announce that Montgomery County’s Free COVID Taxi Rides Program has won a 2022 National Association of Counties award. The program enables seniors and adults with disabilities to obtain free rides for COVID-19 testing, vaccinations, and booster shots and pick up free masks and test kits. Our Connect-A-Ride program is a critical part of this service. Individuals connect with our staff to learn about the program and obtain their vouchers for the free round-trip taxi rides. Read more.

Senior Resources Guide Archives
The Washington Jewish Week has been including quarterly Senior Resources Guides for many years. But what if you don't get the Jewish Week or you have misplaced the issue that you thought was so useful? The JCA website has all the Senior Resource Guides archived for your convenience. Check out helpful guides like "Caregiving," "Financial Planning for Retirement," or "Downsizing," and more.
Current Kensington Club members who attend one or two afternoons at the Parklawn location can sign up for an additional afternoon session for half price. This offer is good for the months of July and August and applies to Tuesdays 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Register for the discounted program here.
