JCMS New Research Call for Submissions (Themes for 2024-2025)

The Editor of New Research (Aviva Dove-Viebahn) welcomes your submissions for any/all of the new themed issues for volume 64 of JCMS (listed below) that are appropriate to your research.

Please submit (your own work or the work of others) listings for books, articles/chapters, public writing, podcasts, and videographic essays published within the last three years on themed topics. Please note, as before, that some themes may be medium specific (e.g. video games) whereas others may be topic-bound but welcoming of publications about all forms of media that address that topic.

Submissions will be reviewed for their relevance to the proposed theme; as such, not all self-submissions are guaranteed to be included in the published New Research list. However, you may resubmit material you have submitted to Professional Notes in the past, as relevant, and you may make multiple submissions. Please submit only work that has already been published. New Research is not a place of unpublished writing.

We are looking forward to receiving your submissions! Please also feel free to email Aviva Dove-Viebahn, Editor of New Research, with any questions (adovevie@asu.edu).
