As we look to the 2021-2022 school year, we want to continue to partner with you in teaching your child to love, learn, and lead! If your child is entering Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten, we will begin our enrollment process the week of January 25 with "Kindergarten Screening." If you have a child coming into Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten, please sign up by clicking the link below to set up a screening time for your child. Screening is Friday, January 29 from 9:00AM-3:00PM or Saturday, January 30 from 9:30AM-12:30PM. The appointments last approximately 15 minutes with cleaning in between. Open Enrollment Now Available For Preschool!

We are now accepting open enrollment for our 3 & 4 year old preschool programs! Please use the link below to fill out the necessary forms. The enrollment fee is $75 and is due within two weeks of signing up in order to secure your spot. Enroll before February 14 and you will receive a $100 discount on your preschool tuition!

Due to our half day scheduled for this Friday, Jan 15 we have some important information regarding the pick-up line procedures!!

To promote safety and a good flow of traffic in the pick-up line in front of school, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please note that preschool releases at 11:30am. These students will be dismissed FIRST on Friday at their normal time of 11:30. Only those parents picking up preschoolers will be allowed in the pickup line during this time.

  • Elementary and Middle School will have a noon dismissal. Please do NOT enter the pickup line until after 11:45 if you are picking up elementary or middle school students. If you are in the line too soon, you will be asked to go back to the Baldwin Street CRC parking lot and wait in line for the noon dismissal time.

  • There will be AM and NOON busing for the JCS Eagle, JCS Deer and JPS Rabbit buses.

Jan 13 - TRIP pickup (6:30pm-7:00pm)
Jan 14 - Early Childhood Group Tours (4:30pm-7:30pm) (see above to sign-up)
Jan 15 - Half-Day School - PreK thru 8th grade (Noon dismissal)

If you would like to give a tangible gift to our school, giving through the Amazon Wish List Program is a great way to show your support! Our staff and students have been greatly blessed by the gifts already coming in through this program.
  • There is NO deadline for placing orders. These lists will stay active throughout the school year and teachers will add to them as needs come up.   •  You can have items shipped directly to JCS by selecting 'Jenison Christian School's Gift Registry Address' for the shipping address when checking out.

  • If you'd like to add a note so we know who made the donation, please select 'Gift Options' under Step 3 in the checkout process.

  • There are also wish lists for the 'JCS Outdoor Education' space as that is used on a daily basis by preschool-elementary, as well as for our custodial staff and childcare team 
  • Lunch Program Option for 1/2 Day - Do you need a cold-lunch take-home option for the half-days of school ahead on January 15 & 29? As part of our hot lunch program with the free offering through the USDA this school year we are able to provide that for you, if you provide us with an advanced request. If you would like us to send your child home with a sack-lunch on those days, please email Penny Thatcher at pthatcher@jenisonchristian.org and let her know you'd like this option.

  • JCS Podcast - Did you know that we have our very own JCS podcast? Join in and listen to our middle school teachers Mr. Eric DeVries and Mr. Payton Ponstein. Here is the link! https://youtu.be/rkhoHWYqGBU

  • JCS gators and theme t-shirts are available for sale in the office: $5/gators and $7/t-shirts.

  • Key Cards ($10/$20) are still available for purchase in the JCS office. There is a dining card for $20 and a car care card for $10.
Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.)
Curbside TRIP is moving inside starting in December.  TRIP will be available for pick up inside by the office door. There can only be two people inside picking up at the same time. Please form a line outside until you can safely enter. Please remember to social distance and wear a mask. 

As before, all orders MUST be preordered. TRIP has dwindled down its inventory and gift cards are now being ordered on an as needed basis. Pick ups will be offered ONLY on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:00 PM as volunteers and parents are not able to be in the school building during school hours. 


Orders placed by Tuesday, January 5 are available for pick up on Wednesday, January 13!

Order dates for January through March are are follows:

Order by Tuesday, March 2 and pick up on Wednesday, March 10,
Order by Tuesday, March 23 and pick up on Wednesday, March 31.

If you have an online TRIP account, we would encourage you to order your TRIP cards via the online ordering system. You can pay for your order via PrestoPay, with your credit card or with a check at pick up. Online ordering has a huge selection of businesses and denominations. If you don’t have an online TRIP account, please email your order to JCS Trip at trip@jenisonchristian.org and your money will be collected when you pick up your order.  As a reminder, we will NOT be able to fulfill any orders at pick up. ALL ORDERS ARE PREORDERED.
Half Day Busing: There will be AM and NOON busing for the JCS Eagle, JCS Deer and JPS Rabbit buses on our scheduled half-days on Jan. 15 & Jan. 29.
