Greetings!
Happy fall, y'all! Just last month we were sweating and cursing the heat, but with just a few weeks time we've moved into autumn. Now we'll play the guessing game with Mother Nature to see if this cool fall weather will stick around or if we'll flip flop back to summer a couple more times before winter sets in. I can solidly say that I'd like to have a nice long fall and I don't care if winter ever gets here. And when winter does come, I hope it's not going to take a cue from the rest of 2020 and punch us in the gut.
This month's The Wealth Report focuses on something that is on nearly everyone's minds at the moment - extreme partisanship and how it might affect your financial strategies. While gridlock in Washington has historically provided at least some semblance of stability in the markets, it doesn't really help when it comes to affect change in areas of concern such as healthcare, budgets deficits, or other key policies. There is a lot of uncertainty floating around in people's minds right now, so it's important to be sure you've got a well-rounded financial plan that will help you to reach your goals despite the happenings in Washington. It's easy to sit back and say that you'll sort it out after the election, but we think it's worth hashing out as soon as possible to be sure you're at least on the right track and ready to implement various elements when the time comes. Planning takes time, so you might as well get that part done.
If you've got questions or concerns about your current retirement plan, then feel free to reach out to us for a review. We are set up to work remotely if you're not comfortable meeting in-person for the time being. Also, if you have friends or family that are worried about their financial plans for the future during this time, then encourage them to reach out to us. We are here to hopefully provide a little clarity during this uncertain time. Just let us know if there is anything we can do to ease some of your concerns going forward.
Until Next Month,
