JFAR Weekly Update from the Office
What's Happened
The visits of all three finalists for JFAR's Executive Director Position are now complete. Thank you to everyone who participated in the visits and took time out to meet the candidates. The Search Committee meets this Sunday to determine a finalist.
We had a great visit this week with the Horvitz Youthability group from the Jewish Family Services of Cleveland, OH. A special thanks to all those who participated in the visit.
The PJ Bubbes have been busy planning events for this spring in Central Arkansas. Next up: A Pre-Pesach Model Matzah Bakery Event!

What's Happening
The Jewish Food and Cultural Festival is coming up on Sunday, April 14th! Volunteers are still needed. Click here to sign-up.
JFAR is pleased to partner with the Anderson Institute on Race and Ethnicity at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to sponsor a talk on Tuesday by Holocaust survivor Louise Lawrence-Israëls. The talk is free and open to the public. Lawrence-Israëls will also be speaking at schools in Hot Springs.
A reminder to our statewide Jewish congregations and organizations that the deadline for JFAR's Yom Ha'atzmaut mini-grants is this Monday. We look forward this year to supporting Israel Independence Day celebrations throughout the state.
JFAR's next Men's Group Lunch is coming up on Friday, April 5th. RSVP to Kelsey.
