L'Shana Tovah!
The Jewish High Holiday season is an important time of reflection and renewal and, regardless of whether you observe these holidays, the value and timeliness of this introspective period should not be overlooked.
JFS Delaware is positioned to be a leading voice and active participant in the solutions to the challenges our clients and community are facing. We are grateful for the support that makes our work possible.
Wishing a happy and sweet new year to those who celebrate. May this time of reflection bring you and your loved ones peace, comfort, and connection.

JFS Receives COA Reaccreditation

Earlier this year we applied to have EVERY JFS program evaluated by the national Council on Accreditation (COA) Board. This comprehensive evaluation include standards, ethical practices, client protection, and much more. And a couple of weeks ago we received the wonderful news from the COA that JFS Delaware has been reaccredited!
Reaccreditation is a tremendous achievement that demonstrates that JFS is recognized as a provider that continues to successfully implement high performance standards and, as such, is delivering the highest quality services to all of our stakeholders.

Luau-themed Resource Fair for Seniors at B'nai Brith House
|
|
Residential Senior Coordinator Sa'Myia Salters, MSW worked with local agencies in Claymont, DE to put together a fun-filled, luau-themed Resource Fair for the seniors who live at B'nai Brith House.
This event was put in place to provide residents with updated information regarding affordable wellness programs in the area. The elders were given free products, offered COVID-19 vaccines, and provided refreshments.
Each vendor offered the residents support that addressed all life domains- such as medical insurance, advanced care management, and senior day programming.
