Challah for a Cause

When Abby Sparks let us know that Jewish Family Service would be the recipients of Challah For a Cause we were so thankful! Abby bakes challah and the lucky recipients make a donation to a cause dear to her.

In these times of uncertainty, we are all craving positive, good news. We hope this video brings you joy and inspiration!
JFS recognized by the Human Rights Campaign
Di Paolo Harrison Family, left to right Brandon with Isabella, Madelyn and Ozzie.

JFS was recognized by the Human Rights Campaign in its 2020 All Children All Families Report for our agency's work in the field of same sex parent adoptions. JFS, which achieved the, “Building Foundation for Inclusion,” tier, is the only agency in Tennessee to receive the designation. JFS has been building loving families through adoption in the LGBTQ+ community since 2001.

Brandon Di Paolo Harrison says that by just doing the work, JFS sends what he calls, “a poignant message that a religious organization in Tennessee will support same-sex families.”
