The pattern in #10 is chert rock from the Monterey Formation. We took many molds off a road cut near the top of Claremont Ave. The lower part of #10 is just rubble from construction in the studio. It also includes a few dots of Antarctic ice in there..

The paper pieces are both from that same Claremont road cut, named after Northern California creeks.
