Dear Members of JHC,

On behalf of the Board and Staff of the Jay Heritage Center, it is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our dear friend Joseph Aresty on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. As many of you already know, he was an extraordinary man whose leadership and support of our organization from its earliest beginnings was unwavering.

Together with his wife and intrepid partner Kitty by his side, he made our non-profit the vibrant and outstanding educational organization that it is today. He also helped make the preservation and ongoing transformation of the 1838 Jay Mansion and surrounding Jay Estate a reality so it could be enjoyed by the community.

We will miss him tremendously.

In addition to his beloved wife Kitty, Joe is survived by his son, Peter and daughter-in-law Rosanne, his son Steven and five grandchildren, Skye, Ruby, Lark, Charles and Eve.

The family will be sitting Shiva on Tuesday, March 20, 4 pm to 8 pm and Wednesday, March 21, 4 pm to 8 pm at

1404 Flagler Drive
Mamaroneck, NY 10543

Notes of condolence may be sent to the same address.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Clary, President
Jay Heritage Center
