[I'll be away from the office from November 1-10

so there will be no email newsletter for 11/10.]

"SCAN ME" MAGNETS FOR YOUR FRIDGE!

A couple of weeks ago Thursday Alex and I made it to as many houses as we could (but couldn't finish our list, especially in Libertyville and Lake Bluff) to deliver these "Scan Me" magnets. The pastoral staff really wants to know when kids are performing or playing or otherwise shining. We know our calendars won't always be open but, if they are, someone will be there to cheer on our kids. If we missed your house, our remaining magnets are in the office on the credenza when you walk in (or we can swing by another day after next week). We figure a QR code on a magnet makes it easy for anyone walking by it to pause, do a quick scan, and fill out the easy form.

Let Megan know if you would like one mailed. And, in the meantime, you can simply scan the picture above if you are reading this on a computer, or follow this link to get to the same form. Please keep us posted! We can't wait to see you!

THINGS TO ADD TO YOUR CALENDARS

Sunday, November 3

Sunday School continues this week and for each Sunday in November.

Caregiving is provided for kids ages birth through age 2 in the nursery and for ages 3-4 in the PreK-K caregiving room (105/106) for those kids who don't feel quite ready to participate in a Sunday School setting or sit through worship.

You can find all the planned Sunday School dates (and other programming dates) here, so you don't miss a thing!

THINGS TO DO

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT PARTS FOR NON-SINGERS!

Do you have, or are you, a kiddo who isn't part of a church choir but would like to be part of the Christmas Pageant? New this year are speaking parts intended for kids who might not otherwise have a chance to participate. If this is your kiddo (or you, JHF/SHF), please be sure to reach out to me no later than Monday, November 11, so we can start assigning roles and planning rehearsals.
