Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.

Guide me in Your truth, and teach me, for You are God my Savior,

and my hope is in You all day long.

Psalm 25: 4-5

February 3, 2023

We had a cold but wonderful Catholic Schools Week! We are grateful to all those who support John Ireland School so our families have a choice in their children's education!

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK (CSW) - Thank you to Mandy Salfer, Cole and Becky Albrecht, and Heather Gilbertson for their leadership during our Catholic Schools Week Kick-off! Thank you to those who helped and attended!

CSW BOOK FAIR - This year's book fair was a huge success! Total sales were $3,790.88 which is $400 more than last year. We also added many new books to our classroom libraries and school library! Thank you to all who purchased items and helped with our book fair!

CSW SERVICE PROJECT - We collected enough donations to assemble 79 blessing bags to give to those in need. This is awesome! We continue to pray for those in need especially during these cold winter months.

OPEN HOUSE - Thursday, February 9th from 5:30-7 PM - This is an open house for all grades with a special focus on preschool and kindergarten. This is in place of a kindergarten round-up. Please spread the word and invite your neighbors and friends!

7 February - Parents

https://calendly.com/drjulesnolan/dnu-feb-stress-anxiety-motivation-for-parents

Stress and Anxiety are more prevalent now in the lives of school-aged children than ever before. How does perfectionism play into our child's stress and anxiety? How can we teach motivation without feeding perfectionism? This session will address behavioral and biological factors that influence the development of anxiety and perfectionistic tendencies. You will leave with concrete, parenting strategies to combat stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, and learn how to foster self-motivation in our children.
