Let us run with endurance the race set before us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus
who is the author and finisher of our faith.

NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY - Teachers will be at a Diocesan Faith Formation Workshop Day in Redwood Falls on Monday, October 11th.

MARATHON - Two more Marathon Mondays to go - Tuesday, October 12th and Monday, October 18th! Students are reaching and passed all the goals! Tuesday students enjoyed an extra recess and Friday was pj and movie day. Ice cream sundaes and a surprise are coming soon since we have brought in OVER $10,000!!! Many classes have reached the goal of 100% participation and the others are very close! Thanks to all who are participating and supporting our annual fundraiser!

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING - This week our second grade class may have been exposed to a positive covid case. I gathered as much information as I could and consulted with Nicollet County Public Health for guidance and the best plan for our students, staff, and their families. The risk is minimal, but we are erring on the side of caution and having them stay home and watch for symptoms for a few days. The person who tested positive is doing fine. Please continue to watch for symptoms of not just covid but other illnesses and keep your children home if they are not feeling well. This last month we have had so many wonderful days of learning, praying, playing, and developing relationships together! We are just over the mid point of the first quarter, and we look forward to many more wonderful days. We know there will be challenges, and we continue to pray for protection, wisdom, and guidance. We are grateful our blessings outweigh the challenges!

CHALLENGE GRANT - Here is a video created by the Diocese of New Ulm and the Schulze Family Foundation that explains this exciting opportunity! See more information toward the end of this newsletter.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Once again there is federal funding so all families will be able to have free lunches for their children for the 2021-2022 school year. If your child has cold lunch with a milk, your account will be charged $0.35 per milk. This is not reimbursable, only school lunches for students are reimbursable.

Even though lunches are free, please help us get the funding we need by completing the Lunch Benefits Application. Funds that nonpublic schools receive are based on students who qualify for lunch benefits. It doesn't matter whether you take the benefits or not. Information is submitted to Colleen and kept confidential.

Sign up to help during lunch.
Volunteers are especially needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
