Let us run with endurance the race set before us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus
who is the author and finisher of our faith.

SCHOOL PICTURE DAY - Picture day has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 20th. Here is the link from Strawbridge if you have not sent in a paper form or completed online form yet. If you have completed it, no need to do anything else.

PARENTS' NIGHT - Thank you to those who were able to attend Parents' Night. If you missed it, please check your child's Friday Folder for information.

REMIND - Here is the remind link. It will also be added at end of future newsletters.

MESSAGES - The best way to communicate early pick ups, absences, change of after school plans, and late arrivals is to send an email to the teacher and the office or me. If email isn't your preferred form of communication, you can either call the office (you may need to leave a message if I am with a student or in the lunch room) or you can give a note to your child to bring to school. Verbal messages at drop off, in passing, or at the end of the school day can be forgotten or get mixed up. Thank you for your cooperation!

MARATHON and MARATHON MONDAYS - Marathon Updates will be emailed each Wednesday. These emails include details and links related to the marathon. See below for the schedule for Marathon day. We hope you are able to attend part or all of the activities. Thanks to the KCs, handmaids, and fourth grade families for your help with our annual event. Special thanks to Jessica Yost for her planning and organization of the event!

WHAT TO WEAR - Our dress code policy says that shorts can be worn in September and May. Since our building is air conditioned and the temps are cooler during the school year, students generally do not need to wear shorts during the school year. However, next week the temp are supposed to be nice so students can continue to wear shoes the week of October 4-8 if they want to. Please remember that mornings can be chilly and most days we don't reach the high temps until later in the day which is sometimes after school is out. We want the students to be comfortable so they can focus on learning. Thanks for your cooperation and flexibility with our roller coaster fall weather season.

Happy October!
