Let us run with endurance the race set before us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus
who is the author and finisher of our faith.

WELCOME AND WELCOME BACK - It was wonderful to see a mix of familiar and new faces at our Peek and Picnic and on the first two days of school! Not sure about the kids, but I know I am tired and glad there were only two school days this week! We need to ease into this school year. Enjoy your three day weekend!

PEEK AND PICNIC - Thank you for attending. 88% of our families attended! It was a terrific gathering! Thanks to the 6th grade families for hosting and a special thanks to Jill Mish for taking the lead with this event!

ENVELOPE OF PAPERWORK - Many of you picked up your family envelopes at our Peek and Picnic. If you didn't, please look for them today in your child's backpack. The colored papers need to be completed and returned to school. Some are one per family and some are one per child which is why there may be multiple copies of some of the forms. Check to see if there are two sides to complete before sending them back to school. Please let me know if you have any questions about these. You can keep the white papers at home or recycle them.

SAC - If your children will be attending SAC, please complete a SAC Contract for 2021-2022. These can be found on our website and on the table in the school entrance.

LITTLE ANGELS - We are excited to see our pre K class on Tuesday afternoon and our preschool class on Wednesday morning.

MASKS are required on school buses. Please make sure your children have them.

BAND starts on Tuesday!

AFTER SCHOOL PLANS/LATE ARRIVALS/EARLY PICK UPS/ ABSENCES - Please communicate with the school office (or me) and teachers so we can reassure your children of plans and have them ready for early pick ups. The easiest way to do this is to email the office (or me) and copy the teachers. Then we have your written permission and all parties know the plans.

SCHOOL MASS - All students will attend Mass next week. Students should dress nicely which may be dresses (with shorts underneath), khaki shorts or pants, and nice shirts. Students can change into more casual clothing after Mass if needed. Since Mass begins at 8:15 AM, they should come to school dressed in their church clothes. You are welcome to join us at Mass. Please come in the church entrance.

FALL WEATHER - It is not officially fall yet, but the weather can feel like it. Please remind your children to dress in layers. It can be chilly in the mornings but warmer by the afternoons. We will be outside before school, during recesses, and some times teachers will take the students outside for classes.

ONLINE STORE - Thanks to United Team Elite you can purchase JI and LA gear online. Orders are due on or before September 15th. Orders will be ready 2-3 weeks after closing date and can be picked up at JI. Here is the link to the online store.

MARATHON - I'm looking for a fourth grade parent to take the lead with this event. Marathon Kick-off is September 17th but the actual event is Sunday, October 3rd. Let me know if you'd like to take the lead. All fourth grade families will help with this event for our school.

TRUNK OR TREAT - Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 30th! We will hold our annual Trunk or Treat event on this day. There is no cost and it is a FUN event. More details coming soon.

Blessings to you!

Once again there is federal funding so families will be able to have free lunches for their children for the 2021-2022 school year. If your child has cold lunch with a milk, your account will be charged $0.35 per milk. This is not reimbursable, only school lunches for students are reimbursable.

Here is the September Lunch Menu.
