Let us run with endurance the race set before us,
fixing our eyes on Jesus
who is the author and finisher of our faith.

Food Drive - WOW! Great participation by all the classes with our food drive. All the baskets/boxes are filled up and ready to go to the St. Peter Food Shelf. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Special Guests - We are blessed to have Art and Barb Straub (retired teachers) coming to JI on Monday, November 22nd for a presentation. They will be sharing more about Native Americans from our area and bone mysteries. We are asking all students and staff to wear face masks during the 30-45 minute presentation. Please make sure your children have face masks in their backpacks. Thank you for your cooperation!

Tuesday Menu Change - There is a funeral in our parish on Tuesday, November 23rd. Therefore we will have lunch one hour earlier than normal and there is a menu change. The menu will be: ham sandwich, chips, veggie sticks, apple or applesauce, and milk.

Conference Meals - Thank you to Sharon Crowley and Mary Smith for helping me with the conference meal on Thursday. Thank you in advance to the Mish and Janovsky families for providing the meal for Tuesday evening.

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Thank you for attending fall conferences! Education is a team effort, and we appreciate your time, communication, and cooperation!

Classroom Wishes - During conferences and the season of Advent, there will be a display in the school entrance with classroom wishes. Teachers (preschool through 6th grade) and specialists (music, PE/health, and library) have written their wishes on stars. If you would like to purchase an item for the classroom, please take the star. Purchase, wrap, and put a to/from tag on the gift and drop if off at the school on or before Monday, December 20th. Teachers and students will open gifts as part of their classroom parties on Tuesday, December 21st. This is optional, and remember the best gift you can give is prayer!

Advent - The season of Advent begins on Sunday, November 28th. Each teacher has planned some special activities to be completed during this special time of year. What are your Advent traditions in your families? Are you looking for some new ideas? Check out this link.

Thanksgiving Break - There is no school Wednesday through Friday. Blessings on your Thanksgiving break!

Blessings to you!

Information is submitted to Colleen and kept confidential.
