The Board of Directors of the JL POA and the JLGC are excited to announce that an agreement in principle has been reached that benefits the Jonathan’s Landing POA residents and the members of the Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club.
We are continuing to work on details and legal evaluation.
Once an agreement is finalized, it will be presented to the POA membership and will be subject to approval by a vote of the POA membership.
The agreement contemplates a small section of lakebed, near the 9th green and the golf club halfway house “The Tern”, which would be transferred to the JLGC for possible clubhouse construction in the future.
This approach would allow the JLGC to build a new facility while continuing to use the existing clubhouse throughout the construction process.
This would also reduce disruption and minimize traffic impacts for residents and club members.
In return, the POA would receive a substantial financial contribution that could fund valuable new projects that might otherwise not be possible.
We believe that a new improved clubhouse facility will have a positive impact on all property values within the community.
