Dear Friends,
SisterSong works to amplify and strengthen the collective voices of Indigenous women and women of color to ensure Reproductive Justice through securing human rights. We define RJ as the human right to bodily autonomy free from all forms of reproductive oppression. We are committed to ensuring the human right to have children, to not have children and the right to parent the children we have in healthy and safe environments.
As the only national RJ organization based in the South, we are committed to being an active part of Southern movement building and to deepening our work in order to help build a stronger movement for RJ in the region.
In 2017, we brought two amazing staff onto our team to focus on efforts in North Carolina. We are thrilled to work towards adding a talented organizer to help build and enhance our efforts in Georgia.
The Georgia Coordinator will be a key organizational representative, among those who represent SisterSong before the press, our membership and the general public. The position description and application information are included below. We are hoping to hire someone by the end of THIS MONTH, so get your materials in and be part of a team truly making a difference in the movement for reproductive justice!
Sincerely,
