Don’t miss the opportunity to see this stunning exhibition before it closes!
When we think of Joseph Stella (1877-1946), it is his futuristic paintings of Coney Island and the Brooklyn Bridge that we remember. This exhibition of 80 paintings and works on paper focuses on the artist’s deep reverence for nature, influenced by visits to the New York Botanical Garden, his childhood home in southern Italy, and perhaps his love for the island of Barbados. After our morning visit to the BRANDYWINE RIVER MUSEUM, we will enjoy lunch (on your own) in charming MEDIA followed by shopping for fresh produce and gourmet specialties at nearby LINVILLE ORCHARDS,
