Young Adult Worship Night

Thursday, May 22

7 p.m. in the Youth Center

We will 'plan' to do a bit of worship, create space for prayer, and orient our hearts around the heart of God. This will be a very intentional time to gather and search together for the deeper things in life.

If you are around the age range of 18-29 (give or take a few years!) and are looking for a place of rest this summer, we'll have a spot for you.

Happy Anniversary!

We would like to wish a Happy Anniversary to Chesley and Evelyn Cawthon who were married in our Sanctuary on May 18, 1952. They will celebrate 73 years of marriage this Sunday!

Their love for one another is still evident after all of these years. Their commitment to each other and this church is a testament to our history and the legacy of who we are today.

Thank you so much to everyone that provided gift cards and volunteered with our Foster Care Appreciation Dinner this week! Each foster family was able to take home 3 gift cards, as well as leftovers from dinner. They all expressed their gratitude to our church and volunteers for hosting!

It Was a Week of Windows...

We have completed the replacement of all wood windows in the south sanctuary choir and Sunday school rooms on the first and second floors. Plus Mike rehung all the blinds and replaced a few!

The new windows look great, are properly clad and caulked to prevent future degradation, and should increase energy efficiency in the building. Plus – windows can now be easily opened for cleaning and comfort as needed.

While our wood windows were being replaced, our beautiful stained glass windows were being repaired. You may not have noticed but some of the windows were starting to sag and deteriorate after 40 years of life. We are pleased to say that all the windows have been repaired and reinforced so that we will experience their beauty for many years to come!

Thank you to Mike Klug, our Building Superintendent and our Trustee Board for taking care of our window projects.
