Happy Friday Cardinal Family!
Does anyone want to go Tailgating?
No not the one that happens in parking lots, but the one that happens at our campus doors. This is a real security issue that happens more than we think. We are taught to be kind and seek to serve, however, if someone does not show any credentials the only response is, “I’m sorry, I cannot let you in.” We may all seem unkind but it is better to be safe than sorry.
So how about Phishing?
Phishing is not necessarily related to Physical Security but there are some things you need to be aware of. We all try our best to avoid malware and viruses. It’s easy to forget about everything around us that can pose security threats. Physical security flaws can put your personal information and sensitive data at risk.
Leaving your device open and unattended invites opportunity. We ask that all Cardinal family members lock all their devices and use solid passwords. Please use a password keeper verse writing all your passwords down on paper.
As a family, let’s watch out for each other, help each other, and pray for each other.

The Sister Parish ministry at Prince of Peace Catholic Church is excited to host the fourth annual Hope for Honduras 5K! The 5K seeks to bring together the community to bring awareness and critical financial support for the health, education, and social justice needs of the children of the Hogar Suyapa Children's Orphanage and Nutrition Center in El Progreso, Honduras. This year, our fundraising goal is $30,000. The event kicks off at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, at Jesuit's Ranger Stadium. Registration is $30 per participant.
