AFTERNOON JPII SCHOOL POSITION AVAILABLE
·      Monday-Friday from Noon-3:00.
·      Great hours for a parent that comes to JPII every day for pick up.
·      This is a paid position.
·      Duties include:
-Answering the “Buzzer” at the middle school door C3 when students arrive late or need to be picked up early.
-Assisting middle school teachers with copying, etc.

BUNDLE UP!!
*Just a reminder to please put names on these items, along with coats, jackets, and uniform sweatshirts.* 
We make every effort to allow students to play outside during their recess time each day. The children are not outside for a long period of time like they are for outdoor sports games and tournaments. So, with your help in sending them with items to bundle up with—*hats, scarves, gloves they will get to enjoy their much needed outdoor time to run and play as much as possible. 
KINDERGARTEN
Kindergarten had a great time bowling!
FIRST GRADE
Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Wetzel’s reading class performed the play, Where Are My Animal Friends? for the Kindergarten classes. They made the props, the background, their costumes and worked very hard practicing their parts! They all were AMAZING!!!
SECOND GRADE
Mrs. Clark's 2nd graders loved celebrating TWOs day on 2-22! All of their lessons centered around the number 2, doubles, matching, pairs and they dressed in some amazing TWOs day attire! We love being in Grade 2!

KNIGHT CAFE

Greetings from the cafeteria! We have an exciting announcement - beginning next week on Monday, October 2, students will have another option for a daily entre! In addition to having the option of the main menu item or a chicken sandwich, students will now be able to order an Uncrustable peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich as one of the daily choices. We hope students enjoy this new option!


-Please note, each lunch account is a debit account, not a credit account. Any accounts in arrears of $20 or more will need to bring a sack lunch. Please refer to the JPII Student Handbook in regards to this policy.

-"If a negative balance occurs the parent/guardian will be asked to send a sack lunch for their
child." Page 38 Appendix B

-To add money to your child's lunch account, please send a check to the school office. Please note, only one check per family is needed. Lunch accounts are shared amongst siblings. Be sure to write the name(s) of your student(s) in the memo line of the check.

-Each lunch account is required to maintain a $20 balance. Student lunches are $3.25/day or $16.25/week, per student- not including any extra entrees or milk.

Please register your student on the EZSchoolPay App to monitor your student's balance! Negative balance slips will not be sent home weekly.
