New to the JPII Family!
Mrs. Sally Daughtrey
Art Teacher

Hello!
I’m Sally Daughtrey and excited to be teaching art and be a part of JPII.
I grew up in Louisville but have lived in Los Angeles most of my adult life. I’m married to my sweet husband, Ben and have two amazing daughters. Mae, 29 is a fashion designer. Juju, 23 is a barista and student.
I’ve worked as an art director, post production supervisor,  teaching artist, decorator and, my favorite (other than Mom), art teacher.  After raising our kids we moved back to be closer to family and enjoy a more relaxed paced life. We have four cats and two dogs and love animals!
I’m currently a working artist and passionate about all things art including design, music, and dance.
I’m excited to be creating with kiddos again! To me there’s nothing more inspiring, as their art is the most soulful, delightful and just full of life.
I'm looking forward to working with and meeting you all.

KINDERGARTEN
Mrs. Bean's Kindergarten Smarties had fun learning about different types of apples and Johnny Appleseed. They made fun "pan" hats, weighed apples, graphed their favorite type of apple, and even made a print of the star inside.
FIRST GRADE
Mrs. Bruggeman's class drew pictures and made a giant poster to help them understand what nouns are. They also were busy comparing numbers with alligator mouths and learning about the greater than and less than symbol!
THIRD GRADE
The third graders turned into chefs while they solved math problems at the Math Pizzeria.

FIFTH GRADE
Social Studies Projects - American Indian Artifacts Museum
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Grade 6
Grade 7
Middle School Tower Garden
Special thanks to our Clark County Health Department, for providing a Flu Shot Clinic for our Faculty/Staff!
