Community Outreach Updates

Tarrant County Goes Back to School

JPS participated in several back-to-school events across Tarrant County providing resources and education to families heading back to school. These back-to-school events helped support families living in Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Grapevine and Bedford. JPS was able to provide resources to over 500 families.

North Texas Wellness Fair

The Hispanic Wellness Coalition hosted the annual North Texas Wellness Fair on August 3 at the Forest Hill Civic and Convention Center. JPS departments provided information on JPS Connection and Behavior Health along with other valuable resources to the community.

Healthy Lives Matters Alzheimer's Education Seminar

The 9^th Annual Healthy Lives Matter Alzheimer’s Education Seminar was held on August 17 at Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus. A seminar was given in response to growing concern regarding Alzheimer’s disease awareness. JPS team members provided valuable information on programs and services.

Master Facility Plan Update

Medical Home Southwest Tarrant

Glass is currently being installed, and the medical home recently received

its first coat of interior paint. Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is

expected to open in Winter 2024.
