About JPS Community Outreach

Community Outreach fulfills the JPS mission of “transforming healthcare delivery for the communities we serve” by strengthening and building community links internal and external to the network, improving the health and well-being of the residents in Tarrant County.

Community Outreach Updates

Providing Outstanding Outreach in our Community

JPS teams attended the Empowering Seniors Super Event in August. Attendees learned about JPS services and were provided with other information to empower seniors, family members, and caregivers to live healthier lifestyles. JPS teams educated participants on injury prevention, Dementia, Sepsis, and Heart Health, along with overall health information for the aging population.

JPS outreach teams participate in events across Tarrant County to provide resources, education, screenings, and services. These events allow JPS to serve the Tarrant County community.

Master Facility Plan Update

Medical Home Southwest Tarrant

Glass is currently being installed, and the medical home recently received

its first coat of interior paint. Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is

expected to open in Winter 2024.

September 15 to October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates Hispanic people's histories, cultures, and contributions. JPS celebrates our diverse team members, patients, and community!
