JPS and Cook Children's Launch New Partnership

In alignment with Tarrant County and the City of Fort Worth’s commitment to improving the Las Vegas Trail neighborhood, JPS and Cook Children's are teaming up. National Breastfeeding Month

World Breastfeeding Week: August 1-7

August is National Breastfeeding Month. Breastfeeding is key to sustainable development strategies post-pandemic, as it improves nutrition, ensures food security, and reduces inequalities between and within countries.

World Breastfeeding Week is August 1-7

This year’s theme is “Enabling Breastfeeding: Making a difference for working parents.”

World Breastfeeding Week 2023 will focus on breastfeeding and employment/work. It will showcase the impact of paid leave, workplace support and emerging parenting norms on breastfeeding through the lens of parents themselves.

JPS is committed to protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding!

As a Mother-Friendly Designated hospital, JPS provides private pumping rooms to breastfeeding employees returning to work after maternity leave.
