Stop the Bleed: Save a Life

JPS is the leader in trauma care for Tarrant County. Our dedication to superior trauma care is critical to the health of Tarrant County. Here at JPS, we are committed to saving the lives of trauma victims. As part of the JPS' dedication to preventing and treating injuries, JPS Trauma Services provides live-saving Stop the Bleed classes to the community. Stop the Bleed teaches the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. By providing education to our community, this is just one way JPS keeps our community safe and injury free.

Reimagining JPS: Work Continues!

A Master Facility Plan Update

Now Open: Las Vegas Trail Health Center

In partnership with Cook Children’s Health Care System, JPS Health Network is making a meaningful impact on the quality of care in the Las Vegas Trail community. The new Las Vegas Trail Health Center is now open and ready to serve adults and families in the community. This neighborhood facility offers primary care, women’s health, and behavioral health services, all delivered by JPS providers committed to removing barriers and supporting lifelong wellness.

The Las Vegas Trail Health Center is a full-service resource hub. In addition to JPS services, the center features pediatric care from Cook Children’s, a community food pantry, healthy cooking classes, workforce training, and wellness programs designed to support the whole person. We’re proud to serve Las Vegas Trail and look forward to welcoming you to your new health center.

Healthy Eating for the Entire Family: Free Hands-On Class

Looking for easy, delicious, and budget-friendly ways to eat healthier? Join JPS Health Network for a free, hands-on cooking class Saturday, August 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Como Community Center and learn how to prepare easy, nutritious meals that are full of flavor—on any budget. This interactive class will teach you practical cooking skills, smart ingredient swaps, and delicious recipes that support your health and well-being. Whether you're just getting started in the kitchen or looking to freshen up your meal routine, you’ll leave with the tools and confidence to cook healthy at home.
