Community Outreach Updates

Women's Wellness Day

JPS Health Network’s Medical Home True Worth hosted a Women's Wellness Day on October 4. The medical home is located in an area populated by many individuals experiencing homelessness. This event aimed to give women a day to focus on their health needs and take care of themselves. During the event, essential health services, including mammograms, pap smear tests, vaccinations, lab tests, and dental screenings were provided. JPS is committed to prioritizing the health of all Tarrant County residents regardless of housing status.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

JPS team members attended several Breast Cancer Awareness events in October. Team members across different departments attended Councilwoman Nikkie Hunter's Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair, BarbaraCares Care 2 Fight Health & Wellness Fair, and Fort Worth Susan G. Komen More than Pink Walk.

Master Facility Plan Update

Medical Home Southwest Tarrant

Landscaping is progressing and window installation has been completed at Medical Home Southwest Tarrant. Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is

expected to open in early 2025.
