Championing Mental Health Together

In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, JPS team members attended the LVT Rise weekly food pantry. JPS Behavioral Health departments along with Trauma Services provided information on injury prevention and shared JPS resources with Las Vegas Trails residents. JPS Behavioral Health strives to meet community needs with a variety of treatment options including evaluation diagnosis, medication management, psychotherapy, psychological testing, and group therapies.

Gearing Up for Back to School

On May 18, JPS staff and volunteers and Fort Worth Athletic Trainers provided free athletic physicals for Fort Worth Independent School District sixth to eleventh graders interested in participating in 2024-2025 athletics. JPS teams completed a total of 1,561 physicals.  

JPS Helps Celebrate Mothers


JPS team members attended a Mother's Day brunch on May 4 at the Atatiana Carr-Jefferson Community Center at Hillside. This event was held to celebrate women living in the community. JPS provided information on women's health services and provided self-care kits to attendees.

Master Facility Plan Update

Medical Home Southwest Tarrant

The exterior facade of Medical Home Southwest Tarrant has

been installed along with drywall on the interior of the structure. Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is expected to open in Winter 2024.

National HIV Testing Day

On June 27, National HIV Testing Day highlights the importance of getting tested for HIV, knowing your status, and learning about options for HIV prevention and treatment. Getting tested for HIV is easy and fast. The JPS Healing Wings clinic offers tests to anyone in the community ages 13 or older.
