Each year, JPS Health Network teams up with Fort Worth ISD Athletics to provide free sports physicals for students preparing to participate in school athletics. It’s one of the many ways we care for our community! This year, JPS providers conducted 1,575 physicals, helping ensure student-athletes are healthy, safe, and ready to play.
We are proud to invest in the health and well-being of the next generation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Tarrant County families and to stand alongside Fort Worth ISD in championing access, prevention, and compassionate care.

A Master Facility Plan Update
Coming this summer: the new Psychiatric Emergency Center at JPS.
JPS Health Network is making significant progress on its Master Facility Plan to expand and modernize healthcare services across Tarrant County. The new Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is open, offering integrated primary and behavioral health care, specialty care, pharmacy, imaging, lab and more.
Construction continues on the Psychiatric Emergency Center, scheduled to open later this summer, and a new 2500-space parking garage opening next spring. Future projects also include a new Medical Outpatient Building, a Central Utility Plant, and a new Hospital Tower building. For more details and updates, visit YesToJPS.org.
