This fall, your feedback on the Learning Experience survey provided JPS with critical input as we navigated the challenges and adjustments to this school year for staff, students, and families. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We greatly appreciated everyone’s perspectives.

Now, we need your feedback for the spring semester. We encourage you to complete the survey again, as your experiences may have changed since the last time you responded.
Completing this survey is voluntary and all responses are anonymous.

Please share your feedback by Friday, February 19.

Pre-K Parent Academy
The Pre-K Parent Academy is underway with only three sessions remaining. This program is a tremendous opportunity for parents of children ages 3-5 who live in the Greater Metro Jackson area. The next three sessions will be held from 5-7 p.m. on the following Thursdays:

  • February 18, 2021
  • March 25, 2021
  • April 15, 2021

These sessions will help parents learn what it takes to get their scholars ready for kindergarten, how to identify milestones in their development, and receive supplies to practice school readiness skills at home.

The application window for elementary special programs has reopened. This is a second chance for parents of children rising to grades K-5 to apply for special programs next fall. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, February 23 at 11:59 p.m.

As a reminder, the regular deadline for high school applications is Friday, February 19.
