A Word from the CEO

I can't believe it's only been a few months since I stepped in as JRB CEO! Our mission – ensuring that those who dedicate their lives to serving others can retire with confidence and dignity – has never felt more meaningful.

I’m deeply grateful to the JRB Board and staff for their support as we introduce new investment options and savings opportunities designed to better serve our community.

We’re enhancing the JRB’s investment offerings by introducing Collective Investment Trusts (CITs). CITs allow us to lower costs while maintaining the same professional management and investment quality. CITs are available to large retirement plans like the JRB, an advantage that reflects the strength of our collective assets. Learn more about how CITs work and what this means for your account.

We’re also making it easier to save more. Beginning in 2025, participants ages 60 to 63 can take advantage of a new “super” catch-up contribution that adds $3,750 on top of the existing age 50 catch-up limit.  The super catch-up contribution has a big potential for those nearing retirement to boost savings. Learn more about how this can boost your savings.

The JRB's Fall Israel Bonds Offering is coming in November. The interest rate will be announced on November 3, 2025. Your request to purchase Israel Bonds must be received by November 11, 2025. Learn more or apply now.

At its September meeting, the JRB Board of Trustees warmly welcomed Rabbi Jay M. Kornsgold to the Board. His experience and insight will help guide the organization as we expand our efforts to build strength and dignity in retirement. Learn more about Rabbi Kornsgold.

I hope you had a meaningful and refreshing holiday season surrounded by family and friends. If you have questions, please reply to this email or call 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733).

L'Shalom,
