2025 Staff Summer Outing

It’s baseball season, and just like our Milwaukee Brewers—who are holding strong around the .500 mark—we at JSD are in the thick of an exciting season of our own. Recently, our entire team had the chance to connect at American Family Field, cheering from the third base line, united under one sky for an unforgettable day of tailgating, Brewers baseball, and a few spirited side bets on the iconic Sausage Race.

JSD’s landscape architecture team has exploded with talent as our team is all about masterfully unveiling the potential of spaces that exist in every project that comes our way. And that expands beyond just the surface land surrounding your project—don’t forget your rooftop!

Kids Building Wisconsin 2025

JSD once again was a silver sponsor for the annual Kids Building Wisconsin event in Madison, welcoming more than 10,000 attendees for a fun-filled day of construction activities for kids! Our kids spun the wheel, painted rocks and won prizes!

Madison Metropolitan School District

JSD is proud to be at the forefront of transformative work for the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) as part of its $500 million referendum, influencing 10 of the district's schools. Our team is deep into schematic design for four school sites and recently presented key project updates to Madison’s Urban Design Commission.

Westside Commons

With JSD’s help, crews demolished Wausau’s Westside Battery building for a 56-unit affordable housing development on the Wisconsin River called Westside Commons.

Longmeadow Park

Mundelein Park & Recreation District partnered with JSD on their 55-acre Longmeadow Park as we prepared the OSLAD Grant submittal and provided landscape architecture, civil engineering and surveying services.
