A group of freshmen and sophomores from Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School spent three days experiencing the great outdoors at Yosemite National Park -- and capturing incredible photos like this one!
Our schools benefit from remarkable board members whose dedication and resourcefulness sustain us. I'm grateful to have met board members from our various schools these last few months and to have witnessed their care for the schools - board members from the Central & Southern Province , board members from our three Milwaukee schools , and board members from our schools in the Northeast Province . Please pray in thanksgiving for all our boards in gratitude for all they do for us.

We are pleased to invite you to our sixth webinar session, entitled "You Give Goods: A Charitable Fundraising Tool." Michelle Seideneck, who helped our Jesuit schools in the Northeast Province collect over 11,000 items of food in the Great Ignatian Challenge , will be hosting this half hour session on Thursday, April 26 from 3:30 to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy Welcomes New Team Members
The Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy ( JVLA ) is excited to announce three new additions to its team, including Gabrielle Martin and David Martino, who, in addition to their current duties at St. Bonaventure's College , will also form the JVLA's Instructional Design team.

Students from Creighton Prep and Loyola Blakefield Named Winners of Inaugural Lessons from Anne Essay Competition
The Jesuit Refugee Service announced on April 12 the winners of the inaugural Lessons from Anne Essay Competition: Courage, Compassion, and Hope in Refuge . The competition, a collaboration of the Jesuit Refugee Service, the Jesuit Schools Network, The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and America Media, was held as an opportunity to raise awareness and conversation around the lives of refugees and how Jesuit educated students can take action.

Nativity Jesuit Academy Announces New Principal
Nativity Jesuit Academy  in Milwaukee, WI is pleased to announce that Vanessa Solis will assume the role of principal effective July 1, 2018.

Solis grew up in Chicago's La Villita (Little Village) and entered school knowing only Spanish. Despite that challenge, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Urban Education.
