Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy Welcomes New Team Members

) is excited to announce three new additions to its team, including Gabrielle Martin and David Martino, who, in addition to their current duties at
St. Bonaventure's College
, will also form the JVLA's Instructional Design team.

Students from Creighton Prep and Loyola Blakefield Named Winners of Inaugural Lessons from Anne Essay Competition

The
Jesuit Refugee Service
announced on April 12 the winners of the inaugural
Lessons from Anne Essay Competition: Courage, Compassion, and Hope in Refuge
. The competition, a collaboration of the Jesuit Refugee Service, the Jesuit Schools Network, The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and America Media, was held as an opportunity to raise awareness and conversation around the lives of refugees and how Jesuit educated students can take action.

Nativity Jesuit Academy Announces New Principal

Nativity Jesuit Academy
in Milwaukee, WI is pleased to announce that Vanessa Solis will assume the role of principal effective July 1, 2018.
Solis grew up in Chicago's
La Villita
(Little Village) and entered school knowing only Spanish. Despite that challenge, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Urban Education.
