Volunteer Updates & Opportunities

Showing Care Matters

The world feels loud right now. People are marching, protesting, speaking up, and pushing for change. That kind of transformation can be powerful and exhausting all at once.

JUC is one of the places we practice being there for each other. Not perfectly. Just faithfully. Showing up on Sunday, opening doors, pouring coffee, offering a steady presence. These small acts matter more than ever when so much feels uncertain.

Volunteering is about creating a place where people can catch their breath and remember they’re not alone. We arrive about 30 minutes early. No one misses the service. What you offer is care, consistency, and a reminder that community still holds.

If you’re looking for a way to turn concern into action and transformation into something tangible, this is one place to start.
