Volunteer Updates & Opportunities

How can you get involved?

This month’s theme of justice reminds us that fairness and care don’t happen on their own. They are built when people show up, share the work, and look out for one another. At JUC, volunteering is one of the ways we practice justice in real, everyday ways. When more of us step in, the work becomes lighter, more sustainable, and more equitable for everyone involved.

So let's signup, step up and show up for our community.

Community Opportunities to help:

The Harvest Table is powered by a small group of dedicated folks, many in their 70s, who do a lot to keep it going. Equity reminds us that the work shouldn’t fall on the same shoulders every week. If you’re able, signing up is a simple way to share the load and support the people who support all of us. Harvest Table

It's that time again! Family Promise Time!!

As a reminder, you will click the link and on the top of the page are tabs for all the volunteer needs. So if you aren't into making meals but you can drive, or you want to help with set-up or overnights, just check out those tabs. If you have any questions let me know!

We could also use a few folks to help with social media. Nothing fancy required, just snapping photos, sharing posts, or helping us tell the story of what’s happening at JUC. If you like being online anyway, this is a great way to help the community stay connected.

If you would like to volunteer, please email Ray Grosser at ray@jeffersonunitarian.org.
