Human history has been the struggle of God to restore His rightful ownership over all things. Satan claimed ownership of all things by claiming dominion over human love. Until now, God could not claim true ownership over all things and this has been the worst tragedy for humanity. The turning point for human history is the day of hope when the Messiah comes, endowed with the power to restore the world with true love. Regis Hanna started his sermon by referring to Father’s words on page 2099 of the CSG, that “I slept for 2 hours per night for 7 years. I made Rev. Eu lecture for 16 hours a day. We lived that way in order to establish the tradition.”
We are disciples of the Messiah and his anointed heir. How is your prayer life? HDK? Reading the 8 Great Textbooks? The Bible? Regis read the Divine Principle 235 times.
Are you doing any fasting? Last time you witnessed? Recited the Pledge? Tithed? Service to others as a way to love God and love others? It’s important to make conditions in our spiritual lives. He was very moved to see Rev. Kwon washing dishes. Unusual to see Korean men do that.

As stated in Romans 7:15, “For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate,” the Scriptures instruct us that we have a contradictory nature. Satan doesn’t take vacations. A dark creature waiting to pop out. We all have to confront our 4 fallen natures.
1. Failure to see from God’s viewpoint
2. Leaving one’s proper position
3. False dominion-taking something that does not belong to us. Saying false things about other people.
4. Multiplication of evil. Spreading the poison around.
He remembers attending the 120 day training under Rev. Sudo. They all participated in a 40 hour condition to witness in NYC. It was hard to stay awake!

When he arrived in Quito, Ecuador, the nation he was assigned to, he was shocked by the poverty. Even the dogs were skinny, and chewing on corn cobs. He came back to NYC after 2 months, feeling totally defeated.
The key he learned was to praise God in all situations. Satan seeks ways to make us negative. When you have an accident or illness, praise God. But in America, many seek to be viewed as victims, which is like taking spiritual poison.
The Last Days are a time of Judgment, to cut off our fallen nature. As we all have been taught, each of us needs to make a Foundation of Faith- central figure (myself), offering, time period (symbol) Cain and Abel, Noah, Moses made offerings.
Foundation of Substance- Cain-Abel relationship (anyone can be my Abel, someone who is closer to God) being grateful.

Becoming a saint means seeing our sin nature and removing it. As Viktor Frankl, who survived a Nazi death camp and founded Logotherapy, taught, a lack of meaning is the root of mental illness. Without a guiding purpose, we will struggle.
God gives us what we need, not what we want.
Substance is to become one with God in heart. The nature of a true subject is the impulse to give love to an object. In college when he felt sad, he would go outside and give money to a poor person. Then he would feel happy.
As discussed in Hosea 1:2 and Hosea 3:1, God instructed the prophet Hosea to marry a prostitute who continued to be unfaithful and gave birth to children who were not his so he could understand God’s suffering heart. As stated in Genesis 6:6, God repented that he made man.
Father could go through his suffering because he could feel God’s heart. We need the Messiah so that our hearts can change.

In Father’s 1973 speech on "New Hope for America," he explained about the Three Stages of Judgment. First is the Judgment of the Word- the more you chew something the more you know its real taste. So, repetition of God’s words does not fatigue you. We must know the truth well.
Second is the Judgment of Personality- when we feel misunderstand, the result is usually having a pity party. Brothers and sisters help me to see my fallen nature so that I can persevere and overcome it.
Third is the Judgment of Heart- If we are self-centered, if even a little bit of ego is there, we cannot call our love total. There have been multitudes of people in the world willing to receive God’s love, but how many are ready to love God? We must restore Him to happiness. The Messiah teaches God’s words and shows His personality, but most important reveals the heart-to-heart relationship that is possible for each one of us.
How is your heat? Your passion towards God? If anything is going to change, it starts with me!
