Grafton Chamber of Commerce Newsletter
A Message From Your Chamber President
I want to start by thanking Bruce McIlnay for his leadership and willingness to try anything during his term as Chamber President. I hope that I can be as good a mentor to my successor, as Bruce has been to me. While I may not have the same history with Grafton that Bruce has, I am passionate about seeing Grafton lead the way creating new experiences for our families and businesses.
I would also like to welcome aboard our two new members, Hailey Nenonen from Aurora Medical Center Grafton and Carrie Toutenhoofd from Fire Ridge Golf Club. We are also welcoming Sarah McCraw as our new Programs Coordinator and Annalise Jasinski as our Tourism Promotion and Special Events Coordinator. With a couple of fresh faces and ideas in the mix with our tenured directors I am very excited for the
year to come.
As summer has kicked off with Beer on the Bridge and an exciting and well attended Giro d'Grafton, it is clear that our loveable little town is booming with opportunity. No matter if you are looking for better exposure for your business or just something to do with the family, Grafton has you covered. Remember to check out our monthly newsletter for updates on events and make sure we are sharing these opportunities with everyone.

The OCJLP provides educational opportunities to incarcerated adults through compassionate delivery of services and community support. This is accomplished by offering high school equivalency diploma completion, basic literacy skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, goal setting and career awareness and employability skills and courses. We also offer life skills classes, computer classes, financial literacy classes and an art workshop. The OCJLP has been in Ozuakee County since 1992 and does not use taxpayer money - instead it relies on the generosity of donations and grants to fund the program. The OCJLP is currently the only private agency in Wisconsin that provides education at the jail level.
