JULY 2021
A Message From Marty Dupree, DOM
Fill The Tank - September 12
Baptism Emphasis Sunday

Little River Churches, let's join with over 200 churches who have already committed to Fill The Tank’ Sunday.

Our new Executive-Director Treasurer, Todd Unzicker says,

Fill the Tank” is a statewide emphasis to see believers baptized on Sept. 12 around the world. Emphasizing baptism on a specific day is a great way to encourage new believers to take the next step of obedience and faith while displaying a picture of the gospel to others.

Would you share with us how God is working in your church to bring people to Himself? We want to celebrate with you!” - Todd Unzicker from the website.

Please sign up at Fill The Tank NC. Let us know that you have registered and made this commitment. There are tons of resources available on the website. LRBA has 6 churches committed so far.

This is a great way to encourage your people to pray, to share their faith, their testimonies, to reach out and invite people to church over the next 3 months as we build up towards a special baptism day.

Some people just pray for rain, but as people of faith we want to “pray for rain and prepare the fields.” So in faith now – even if you have no one to baptize, make plans to have the baptism tank full on September 12 in anticipation of the Lord saving someone who will need to be baptized or someone already in your church who is a believer but has never followed through in baptism and needs to. We will see God do incredible things as we seek Him and trust Him to move.

I encourage you to begin 40 Days of prayer on August 1 in anticipation of September 12. Some of you are baptizing new believers this summer. Please let us know that also. We want to celebrate all the people and churches that are seeing people follow through in Believer’s Baptism throughout this year!

Every blessing to you as you seek the Lord and reach people with the Gospel.

~Marty Dupree
