Lisa and Becky were walking in the Glendale neighborhood before going to lunch. They saw the TSC EVENT sign in front of St. Mary's. On Wednesdays, the Food For The Soul Ministry welcomes anyone in the area to come for Community Lunch. Lisa and Becky ventured in to discover that lunch was right in front of them. They carried their boxed meals to a cozy spot on the grounds and enjoyed time together. Following lunch, they spoke with a staff member and were given a guided tour. They returned another time and brought friends. Lisa eventually inquired about accommodation options for their group. They usually go to Florida, but right now that is too far to venture. The group booked a two day overnight in Beth Anna and stayed in June. One of our first groups this year! And, of course, one of their plans included a Wednesday lunch in the Gazebo. We never know how a new group or individual guest will be brought to us!
