GOSPEL URGENCY!!!!

Theme for this year and our Fall Annual Missions Conference is: GOSPEL IMPACT: Reaching Neighbors & Nations! Mark 16:15 says to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all of creation.” Everyone needs Jesus! We all need Jesus. We also need more urgency for the Gospel.

The world is going crazy and we are on the brink of WW3! The Times have never been more spiritually dark or desperate for hope. Yet, we have Jesus, the hope of the world! Please Share Him, Share Hope!

People are rapidly moving into Harnett County, ~ 2200 people per year. Lillington area has almost doubled in population in the last 7 years. Most of these new neighbors are not churched and do not know Jesus! We have a responsibility and a privilege and the opportunity to share the Gospel and reach these new neighbors around us.

Churches & Individuals - Please develop a Plan of how to reach your church area with the Good news! See link for "Prayer, Care and Share Strategy".

PRAYER: 4 Prayers of Evangelism – (see tool HERE)

Prayer Driving through neighborhoods, Prayer Walking neighborhoods, meeting neighbors, building relationships, inviting people to VBS and to church are all effective ways to begin making a Gospel Impact.

“Why We Should Pray for and Share the Gospel with Lost People” (see link) Marty Dupree

The Bible says that the “conditions” of people without a relationship with Christ are: spiritually blind, bound, condemned, under Gods wrath, destined for hell, helpless, hopeless and spiritually dead! Wow – we easily forget how much each individual needs a Savior!

CARE: Look for ways to help meet needs of your neighbors and especially the schools and first responders near your church!

SERVE NC August 2-9 ServeNC | Baptist State Convention of North Carolina great opportunity to help serve and reach schools and neighbors at the beginning of the school year. Provide meals and gift cards for the teachers, landscape or mow the yard, paint the school, check with the principal about needs that they have that your church can fill.

SHARE THE GOSPEL LRBA.net has resources for sharing the Gospel

We all have a Great Commandment (Love God, Love People) and Great Commission (Make Disciples of all nations) responsibility to be making a Gospel Impact and with urgency. Ready or not - Jesus is coming back!

Praying for You - Marty Dupree

Disciple Like Jesus

Workshop

September 16th, 10am

LRBA Office

This workshop challenges leaders to view disciple-making as more than a classroom destination. Through biblical insight and practical tools, it emphasizes that discipleship involves not only teaching information, but also "imitate me as I imitate Christ" moments. As a leader, learn how to see your group members not just as attendees, but as future leaders and disciple-makers. By starting small—with a meal, a Bible reading, a prayer list, or mentoring a new leader—leaders can spark transformative disciple-making movements right from their local church.
