Great advice
from BrightView!
Thinking of upgrading your landscaping?
Keep the following in mind when selecting plant material near a building or other structure.
|
Beautiful large plants and shrubs are often used adjacent to a clubhouse or other common area. Nelly R. Stevens, Foster, and other large holly species are also popular among residences and are typically planted very close to homes. Although they add wonderful curb appeal, it is important to note that these trees naturally grow to 20-25' Tall and 10-15' Wide. As the nei
ghborhood matures, so will the Nelly R. Stevens planted throughout. They are manageable, but landscapers cannot stop the
m from growing to their full potential and many companies cannot maintain them once they reach 12 feet. BrightView recommends that these trees be replaced by Red Robin Hollies, shown in the photo above, which look similar but do not grow as large.

The Heritage Effective Leasing Program, or H.E.L.P., is the industry leading solution that provides all the information the board needs about the leasing status of every home in their community. Since its inception, the number of communities taking advantage of this valuable program has grown significantly. In many cases, this service can be offered at NO COST to the Association. Our team can research what your governing document will allow and offer advice on the best way to manage this aspect of your association.

Outdoor Grilling Safety
Compliments of CAU
 |
One of the most enjoyable summer pastimes is cooking outdoors with family and friends. Nearly everyone would agree that a steak or burger cooked over the open-flame of an outdoor grill tastes better than one prepared indoors in a broiler or frying pan.
However, residents in multi-residential housing must take special precautions to enjoy the benefits of grilling outdoors. Using open-flame grills or other similar devices on balconies is unsafe and, in most cases, prohibited by local fire ordinances.
|
|
An open-flame grill can use gas, charcoal, wood or pellets as a fuel. By taking a few simple precautions suggested in this guide, you could prevent a relaxing evening outdoors from turning into a fiery tragedy for you and your community. For more details click the link below!
