Presidents Message

Hello Winning Ladies,

Over the years I have been appointed to several different positions on the WINS Board. I would have to say the hardest office is VP of Programs. It’s so difficult finding speakers whose presentation is

interesting to the membership and who are willing to speak for free!

Ana Asatouri has done a phenomenal job on locating exceptional speakers. The June speaker, Kathleen Roland, gave an amazing

presentation on Clutternomics!

I think everyone in attendance benefited by her words of wisdom. The advice I garnered from her message was to set aside one hour a week and focus on decluttering one zone. Do not allow yourself to venture away from that project until it is completed. I’ve already designated

the room I’m going to start with first.

I’m looking forward to how good I’ll feel once I’ve accomplished that task! Try setting the same goal for yourself and feel the stress being lifted from your shoulders.

FuN Facts

I was born in No Ho, with 11 of us at the dinner table each night. Eight children, mom, dad, & Granny. My Granny was one of my greatest loves… SO Very non-judgmental! Granny came to the US by horse & buggy. She was the oldest of 24 children. Her father had 12 kids with her mom. Mom died while giving birth to the 12^th child, the wet nurse stayed on to feed all the babies, they married & had 12 more.

It truly takes a village!

“Get outside of yourself”!

This mantra saved my life having lost a child. The loss was all consuming, yet to survive it was a necessity that I found a way to get outside of myself.

That is when my journey of healing began. Mid Valley Properties became the vehicle to shift from pain to service of others. Our company cares about the community and giving back. They strive to

be viewed as a community partner and it opened doors for me to engage in service. Our passion is advocating to help small businesses find ways to get through the operational challenges during tough economic times, this came out of witnessing the struggles of our many tenants.

There is a love for me of

what I do for a living. There is such joy in helping a new small business find the perfect home, and then connect them with resources to not only survive but thrive!
