Medication therapies may not effectively manage behavioral symptoms for those with dementia and can have significant adverse effects and risks. We’ll discuss non-pharmacological strategies, such as interventions that target environmental adaptations, behavioral strategies, and caregiver training, which are more likely to mitigate behavioral symptoms caused by dementia-related illnesses. Free to participate.
