Calling on all JUMPers in Northwest Florida: On
Friday, September 4, the "Japan-U.S.Military Program Event and Reception" will be held at the National Aviation Museum in Pensacola and will include a presentation in the Blue Angels atrium followed by a reception on the USS Cabot flight deck with free refreshments for registered participants.
Last week, JUMP came to San Diego to celebrate those who served in Japan at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Alongside veterans and crew from the USS Ronald Reagan were distinguished guests such as Kate Leonard, Honorary Consul General of Japan, and RADM Markham K. Rich, Commander, Navy Region Southwest. City Councilmember Chris Cate presented JUMP with a letter of appreciation from the City of San Diego. Over 170 people attended and enjoyed free hot dogs, hamburgers and beer at the baseball game afterwards.
