Teaneck Joins Global Alliance of Cities Aiming to be Age-Friendly
Teaneck is pledging a more age-friendly future, with the recent announcement it has joined a global alliance that works to improve the lives of older residents. The township is the first Bergen County community and only the third in New Jersey to become a member of the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities. Teaneck's entry into the network was celebrated at a June 14 reception attended by local officials and key supporters.
