A Message From Your Executive Director
 
Dear Chamber Members,
 
As this Chamber year comes to a close, I continue to marvel at the amazing organization that I am fortunate to be a part of! Your Chamber and our members make an impact in this community every day!  We have had several successful events, continue to appreciate our terrific partnerships and had lots of fun! I would like to thank you the Chamber Board of Directors and all of our members for making our Chamber the successful organization that it is. Thank you for your support and allowing me to serve as a conduit in the development of develop for businesses and organization within our community and the county, which in turn helps to make Grafton thrive and grow. At this year's Annual Meeting, we honored our Outstanding Business Person, Katie Parchim (John's Pizzaria), Outstanding Business, Atlas BBQ, Outstanding Community Partner, Jessica Wolff (Village of Grafton Community Development Director) and Brooke Napiwocki (Crescendo Wealth Management). Congratulations to all on your very well deserved awards! Your Chamber Board is eager to begin another year, and I know that under the leadership of Dustin Beck of US Bank, our new Board President, our organization will keep getting better!

Thank you to the generous support of our local businesses and the dedication of our Chamber Board members and their committees. You all make our Chamber community events and programs including the Farmers Market, Ladies Night Out, the Chamber Golf Outing, Holiday Events and our State of the Community Luncheon remain successful. Our Young Professionals Group continues to develop, so please watch for more events from this group in the coming months and share the information with any YPs at your company. 
 
In January, we are in our third year of our agreement with the Village to promote and develop Tourism for our community. Our podcasts have begun to develop a following, our new website is up and running with many new enhancement features available to you. We have invested in seasonal banners for the Riverwalk and HWY 60 Bridge and the Paramount Plaza. We already know that Grafton is a great place to live, work and play, over the next year, we will continue to develop strategies to encourage more people to visit our community. We are committed to enhancing the Interurban Trail in Grafton and are working on new initiatives to honor our Blues Recording History.
 
While our responsibilities in this area have grown, our primary focus is, and always will be on you, our Chamber members. We finished this membership year with an all-time high of with 354 members. The Chamber serves as a resource and referral source for your business.  If you haven't looked at our new website features or need help updating your listing, please let us know.  If you're on Facebook, make sure to like the Chamber so that we can share your posts.  It's 2019-20 membership renewal time and you should information within the next week. We appreciate your past support and look forward to our continued partnership.

The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer a $1,000 Scholarship Award to a Continuing or Returning Student who resides in Grafton, lives in Grafton or graduated from Grafton High School.
Applicants can be in pursuit of a 2-year, 4-year or graduate degree.
