GREAT COMMISSION OPPORTUNITY IN LRBA!

We are sending our own Josh & Betty Stewart as NAMB Missionaries to Vancouver, Canada!

Dear Fellow Churches,

We’re Josh and Betty Stewart. We, with our highly enthusiastic 9 year old, Malcolm, and precious 3 year old, Lydia, have been at Point Church Fort Bragg from very near the beginning of the launch. The lead planter started gathering a core team in early 2019 and Josh joined the team as the associate planter in August of that year. We can enthusiastically say that Jesus has built his church and we have learned so much. Our faith and experience has grown and we’ve had the privilege of being a part of Jesus establishing a very healthy church; something we’d always wanted to be a part of.

For the last couple of years a desire has grown in our hearts to multiply our efforts. Truthfully, planting another church domestically or internationally has always been a hope among the leadership at Point Church.

June Mission Project

The June mission project will be

Birthday Cake Boxes for the Baptist Children's Home Foster Care Program. We are asking each church to put together 5 birthday cake boxes and drop off at the LRBA Office on June 25th between 8:30am-2:30pm.

Cake Box Contents:

9×13 disposable aluminum foil pan with the lid for neatly packaging
a box of cake mix, any flavor
1 can of sprite or other lemon lime soda -can be used in case the recipient doesn’t have eggs or oil
a can of frosting
birthday candles

July Mission Project

We are collecting food items for the Buddy BackPack Ministry of Harnett County. Drop off is planned 8:30-2:30 on July 30th. There will be a loading vehicle in the LRBA parking lot.

August Mission Project

Please collect school supplies for the Harnett County Schools. If you have teachers in your church family, ask for ideas on what may be needed at your local schools.
