Welcome to the WAWM RCS Department, Tim!
Please join us in welcoming Tim as our newest Office Operations Specialist! We're excited to have you on our team. When you stop by the Recreation Center, Tim is one of the first friendly faces you'll see so make sure you say HI! Learn more about him below.
1. What are you most excited about in this role?
I’m really looking forward to meeting all the amazing people who come through the doors of the Recreation Center. It’s always inspiring to be around people who are active, engaged and part of a vibrant community. I’m also excited to work with the dedicated staff here. Working alongside a team that shares a commitment to creating a positive and welcoming environment is something I truly value. I can’t wait to contribute and be a part of everything that makes this place special.
2. What do you want people to know about you?
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, and I’ve always had a strong connection to this city and its community. After graduating from college, I was fortunate to begin my career with the Milwaukee Brewers, working in their entertainment department. What started as a part-time summer job quickly turned into a long-term opportunity as I eventually became a full-time staff member. Over the course of 12 incredible seasons with the team, I had the chance to be part of countless games, events, and behind-the-scenes moments. I've seen a lot of baseball and even more amazing memories made.
3. Why did you want to work at the WAWM RCS Department?
The WAWM RCS Department plays such an important role in enriching the lives of residents through recreation, wellness and an array of programs-and that’s something I’m proud to be part of. I’m especially excited about the opportunity to engage with people daily, work alongside a dedicated team and help create positive experiences for everyone who walks through the doors.
4. Fun fact about you?
I once was a racing sausage for the Milwaukee Brewers! (Don't ask me if I won)
