Independence Day
We hope you had an enjoyable July 4th celebration! As we reflect on our Independence Day we wanted to share an enlightening story. Last month we had Army Major Billy C. Hall on our flight. Major Billy C. Hall is believed to be the last living veteran to join the armed forces before the U.S. entered World War II at 15 years old. He served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. As one of the most decorated living veterans he was being flown to Normandy to commemorate the 79th anniversary of D-Day. When our son thanked him for his service, he responded, “You were worth it”.
